Help Nepal – Conquering Second Wave of COVID-19

The second wave of COVID-19 hit Nepal severely, soon after it peaked in neigbouring India, in May 2021. With its fragile healthcare system, the pandemic was expected to hit the Nepali population hard, in the absence of sufficient vaccines. Sewa and its organizations worldwide were one of the first to swing into action on the ground in Nepal. So how did we help during the 2nd wave of Covid in Nepal ?

Watch the above video that summarizes Sewa Canada’s  “Helping Nepal Conquer 2nd Wave of COVID-19” effort and highlights of the project, with $1 Million aid through  1) immediate oxygen relief and 2) long term relief by improving medical infrastructure all across Nepal from June 2021 to July 2022.

Sewa  Canada International expresses its heartfelt gratitude to KY Ho foundation and other donors for the generosity and support, that helped us deliver aid to the needy, victims and shore up the medical infrastructure for future waves.
