Our Mission
Sewa Canada will strive to find and support humanitarian programs that directly brings positive transformation to people irrespective of race, nationality, religion or sex. Our guiding core values in our mission are

Sewa Canada International Aid Inc was started in 1991 as Sewa Bharati Toronto Chapter by its founder Mrs. Asha Sehgal with assistance of Mr. Sat Wadhwa and Mr. Rampuri. It was formally registered as a non-profit charitable organization in January 1999. Sewa Canada is a registered charity with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). Charity registration number is 885411249RR0001.
The word ‘SEWA’ in Sanskrit means selfless service to the sick, poor, destitute, vulnerable and oppressed members of our social structure and that is exactly what this organization is doing. Sewa Canada’s motto is “Service to humanity is service to God” (Nar sewa Narayan sewa) because we believe that whole world is one family (Vasudhaiva kutumbakam) so, May all be happy; May all be free from sickness (Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah; Sarve Santu Niramaya ). Sewa Canada International is leading humanitarian and development Charity from last 20+ years and has focused on selfless humanitarian efforts by providing service to all irrespective of race, nationality, religion, or sex. Through our innovative and selfless service programs we continuously strive to help people in need through donation of our donors and engaging trusted partners.
