The hostel is named as Gandhi Ashram situated at Gandhi Nagar Bhopal. It was established in the year 1995.
Our associate charity is a registered social organisation running various social service projects in the state of Madhya Pradesh and Chhatisgarh Hostel for physically challenged boys is one of these.
The object of the Hostel is to provide education at facility with accommodation facility to the physically challenged boys of poor families from of rural area. As we know that the infrastructure i.e. road is not available to operate/run tricycle. Therefore, these student find it difficult to reach the school.
Secondly, the social atmosphere of the rural area is also not affectionate toward the physically challenged boys. At Gandhi Ashram accommodation, education, medical facility is provided free of cost. These students are going to a reputed private school which provide qualitative education with moral values.
The school is away about 8 km from the hostel building. We have hired private vehicle to give the facility for the transportation of students. Apart from the schooling, we have appointed 2 part time teachers to provide extra coaching in the subjects – Maths, English, Science etc.We are also providing coaching facility to the students who are pursuing for entrance exam for the higher studies.
