One of the learnings during COVID-19 second wave was the lack of adequate ambulances especially in rural and tribal areas to get patients to hospitals. With this in mind Sewa Canada International is providing 3 ambulances to serve patients now and prepare for future waves. The first of those Ambulances was delivered to Sewa Bharati Madhya Bharat, in the province of Madhya Pradesh.
A fully equipped Medical Ambulance was handed over to Sewa Bharati Manipur, by Sewa Canada International. This will provide easier access to medical care, for underprivileged & geographically remote communities there, during ongoing COVID crisis.
Sewa Canada had earlier provided scores of O2 Concentrators to hospitals & health centres in Manipur. Medical equipment for 5 hospitals in the province to help fight COVID is expected to arrive in a couple of weeks. All of this is part of approx. CAD$ 100,000 aid to the province of Manipur, from Sewa Canada International, in its fight to conquer COVID-19.
