Sewa Canada International, has undertaken extensive work across Nepal to improve its medical infrastructure over the last three years. This included making Solukhumbu district fully equipped with Ultra-Sound machines, in its villages with the supply of 27 such units by Sewa Canada International, to reduce maternal deaths and improve maternal care. In the remote Western district of Doti in Nepal, we have partnered with Smart Health Global (SHG) in Nepal, a registered not for profit to strengthens the health system through context appropriate evidence informed technology to reduce mortality and morbidity among women, newborn and children. Smartphone apps for lay health workers to increase hospital delivery and telemedicine service – connecting rural services with advanced capacities are some of the examples. | Volunteer The Sewa International, invites enthusiast individuals to come forward and help us in our initiatives.
