1st Oxygen Plant – 150 Litres Per Minute (LPM) Oxygen plant installed & commissioned into service, at Anjali Charitable Hospital, serving rural and tribal areas of Sabarkantha district, Gujarat. This was done in collaboration with Sewa International Bharat.
This is the 1st of 8 Oxygen plants in India, funded by Sewa Canada International, with help of its Canadian donors and part of our continued commitment to improve Oxygen infrastructure in hospitals (in rural India) during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and future waves.
2nd Oxygen Generating Plant by Sewa Canada International commissioned into service. The 250 Litres Per Minute (LPM) plant has been installed at Chetana Vihara, Bommasandra, in the outskirts of Bengaluru, India. They also host a Retirement & Assisted Living Facility and hence this plant will serve the elderly and other needy patients.
This 250 LPM plant and the earlier one commissioned in rural Gujarat (150 LPM plant) account for a little over CAD$100,000 in costs. The installation and commission of these plants, is facilitated by Sewa International Bharat and their dedicated volunteers working with a team of Professionals, vendors and contractors.
