Project Description:

In April 2024, Sewa Canada International with funding from Dr. PC Raju & Jyoti Shah Family Foundation successfully completed an initial pilot project of providing 3000 mango plants to 300 farmers, providing them with income generation. This was warmly embraced by local farmers, marking a significant step toward rural empowerment. Building on the success of the pilot phase, an additional 500 families are to be provided with 10,000 mango trees across 8 villages. This will empower these farmers to boost their incomes, and drive long-term rural socio-economic development.
