Alberta Wildfires- Food Relief for Evacuees

donate-9247119
Hot and dry conditions have triggered an intense and early start to wildfire season in Alberta. As of past Wednesday, there were 91 wildfires burning in the forest protection area of Alberta, including 27 out of control. The number of evacuees has dropped to about 12,000 from a peak of more than 30,000 people earlier this month.
On Friday May 19th, at Spruce Grove, AB, Sewa Canada International Aid Inc. in collaboration with its partner organization WE TOGETHER STRONG COMMUNITY helped serve 150 fresh cooked meals to Wildfire Evacuees & Firefighters in the area.
We will continue to work closely with our partner organization in Alberta, in monitoring the situation and providing more relief to evacuees.
To help us provide at least 1000 fresh cooked hot meals to wildfire evacuees in Spruce Grove & Whitecourt, over the next few weeks, please donate generously. 100% of your donations are transferred to the work on the ground.
